Desian Education
Desian Education are currently seeking a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil in a Year 2 class at a warm and inclusive primary school in the Wirral.
This is a full-time, long-term position, ideal for someone with previous SEND experience—whether gained in a school, nursery, care, or other educational setting.
Working hours are 8.30am-3.30pm.
The Role
Supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis within a Year 2 classroom
Assisting with learning tasks, emotional regulation, and classroom routines
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies
Encouraging independence and building confidence through tailored support
Monitoring progress and providing feedback to the wider staff team
