Desian Education is currently partnering with a school in St Helens to recruit a Year 1 Class Teacher for the 2026/27 academic year.

The schools is welcoming application from MPS 3 – MPS 6 teachers

 

Your New School

 

You will be working a in a large single form entry primary school in St Helens alongside an experience teaching and support team who work hard to create an environment where all children can achieve their goals.

As a Year 1 class teacher you will have full teaching responsibilities which will include:

• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic progress.
• Work collaboratively with experienced TA’s and the wider school team to ensure consistent support for pupils.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching across KS1
