Are you passionate about helping young children learn, grow and thrive? Desian Education are currently enthusiastic and caring Early Years Teaching Assistants to support Reception pupils, helping them build confidence, develop essential skills and enjoy a positive start to their school journey.

📘Your New Role:

Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
Working with small groups and individual pupils to support their learning and development.
Assisting with early literacy, phonics, numeracy and communication skills.
Encouraging children’s social, emotional and personal development through play-based learning.
Supporting pupils with their daily routines, promoting independence and positive behaviour.
Creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating classroom environment.
Providing additional support to children who may need extra help with their learning, communication or development.
Helping to prepare classroom resources and learning activities.
Promoting the safeguarding, welfare and wellbeing of all pupils.

Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Are patient, approachable and able to encourage children’s confidence and independence
Can work effectively as part of a team, supporting the class teacher and wider school staff.

Understand the importance of safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare..
Hold a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2)
