EYFS and KS1 Supply Teacher

Desian Education are looking for enthusiastic and reliable EYFS and KS1 Primary Teachers to work across primary schools in St Helens.

Whether you’re looking for regular supply work, more flexibility around your existing commitments, or the opportunity to experience a variety of local schools, we’d love to hear from you.

You will:

• Delivering engaging lessons and activities appropriate to the age and ability of pupils
• Following planning provided by the school where appropriate
• Creating a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Supporting pupils with different learning needs and abilities
• Working closely with teaching assistants and other school staff
• Providing a consistent and professional presence within each school

You will have:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching within EYFS and/or KS1
• Has a good understanding of the primary curriculum and Early Years provision
• Is confident, adaptable and able to quickly establish positive relationships with pupils
• Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to helping children achieve their potential
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
