Your new role:
As a teaching assistant within this school, you will be joining a highly experienced and welcoming SEN cohort, working in collaboration with the SENCO, teachers and other teaching assistant to encourage the development and engagement of pupils with SEMH. You will support across two dedicated SEMH provision consisting of 14 pupils within each class, offering tailored 1:1 trauma informed support for your pupils. The pupils you will be supporting all have SEMH and have unfortunately been subject to trauma throughout their early life. To support their emotional development, regulation and confidence you will used trauma-informed delivery models in all aspect of their education, with typical duties that will consist of:
