We are currently looking for Early Years Foundation (EYFS) specialist teachers to work in our partnership schools across Warrington and the surrounding areas. We can offer you access to full or part time teaching opportunities that can fit around you and your commitments in schools local to you. You will be able gain valuable experience working in large multiple form entry and single form entry primary schools. You will also be able to pick and choose the right assignments for you.

Year 2 Teaching Assistant

Are you someone who can think on their feet, use their initiative, and build strong, supportive relationships with children?

We are looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 2 who is currently working at Foundation Stage level. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a nurturing approach and the ability to adapt learning experiences to meet individual needs.

 

About the Role

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to support a pupil who benefits from regular movement and sensory breaks throughout the day. There are no behavioural needs, but the ability to recognise when the pupil needs time away from the classroom is essential.

The pupil responds particularly well to sports and active learning, so an interest in physical activity or outdoor learning would be a great asset in this role.
