Desian Education are delighted to be working with a large school in Runcorn to recruit a KS2 teacher for a long-term contact. The role is initially for the summer term however could be extended into the new academic year.

The school are welcoming application for ECT (MPS 1) and experienced teachers.

You will be joining an experienced and welcoming teaching and support team who work hard to create a safe and engaging environment for children to achieve their goals.

Your new role:

As a year KS2 class teacher you will have full teaching responsibilities which will include:

  • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic progress.
  • Work collaboratively with experienced TA’s and the wider school team to ensure consistent support for pupils.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed.

Year 2 Teaching Assistant

Are you someone who can think on their feet, use their initiative, and build strong, supportive relationships with children?

We are looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 2 who is currently working at Foundation Stage level. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a nurturing approach and the ability to adapt learning experiences to meet individual needs.

 

About the Role

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to support a pupil who benefits from regular movement and sensory breaks throughout the day. There are no behavioural needs, but the ability to recognise when the pupil needs time away from the classroom is essential.

The pupil responds particularly well to sports and active learning, so an interest in physical activity or outdoor learning would be a great asset in this role.
