This role will be starting after the Easter holidays and will last the remainder of the academic year, with a permanent contract guaranteed for the right individual.
Your new role
This is an extremely supportive SEND specialist school that supports pupils between the ages of 2 – 19 with a variety of complex and profound SEND such as ASD, non-verbal, PMLD, and more. You will be joining an extremely supportive year 3 class with the full support of an experienced teacher and 4 teaching assistants. You will offer 1:1 support to a pupil with ASD and non-verbal that is new to the school and is struggle to integrate due to a change in their routine. You will support them throughout the school day, meeting them at the school gate and walking them back to their parents/guardians at the end of the day. You will:
