Year 5/6 Class Teacher

Desian Education is currently partnering with a school in Chester to recruit a year 5/6 class teacher (0.6) for a long-term teaching position starting ASAP.

We are welcoming applications from ECTs and experienced teachers.

 

Your New Role:

You will be working a in a large single form entry primary school in Chester alongside an experience teaching and support team who work hard to create an environment where all children can achieve their goals.

• As a year 5/6 class teacher you will have full teaching responsibilities which will include:
• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic progress.
• Support children preparing for KS2 SATs
• Work collaboratively with experienced TA’s and the wider school team to ensure consistent support for pupils.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  Recent experience teaching in upper KS2
  Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
  Satisfactory References
