Year 5 Class Teacher

Desian Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in St Helens on a long-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT looking to develop their career within a thriving school environment.

Your New Role

• Full responsibility for a vibrant Year 5 class
• Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Assessing, monitoring and reporting on pupil progress
• Creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with senior leaders, colleagues, parents and carers
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement

What you will need:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
• Be committed to raising attainment and supporting pupil progress
• Have strong communication and organisational skills
• Be able to work effectively as part of a dedicated school team
