Part time teacher

Desian Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Frodsham to recruit an experienced teacher for a long-term position. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dedicated school team while enjoying a varied timetable across Key Stage 2.

This long-term, part-time teaching opportunity offers a varied and rewarding timetable within a friendly and supportive primary school in Frodsham. The successful candidate will teach Year 4 for two full days each week, alongside providing one afternoon of teaching in Year 3 and one afternoon in Year 5. The role will involve delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, maintaining high expectations for pupil progress and behaviour, and working closely with colleagues across Key Stage 2 to ensure consistency and continuity of learning. This is an excellent opportunity for a flexible and enthusiastic teacher who enjoys teaching across different year groups and making a positive impact on children’s educational journeys.

What you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Significant experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Year 5 curriculum
• Proven experience supporting pupils with high SEND needs
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to differentiate learning effectively for a range of abilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A nurturing, patient, and inclusive approach to teaching
• A commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing
