Early Years Teaching Assistant – St Helens

Full-Time | Long-Term Position | Immediate Start Available 

Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Years professional looking for your next opportunity? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive setting in St Helens on a full-time, long-term basis, with an ASAP start.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a nurturing Early Years environment, supporting young children during the crucial early stages of their development and learning journey.

The Role 

• Supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider staff team to create an engaging learning environment
• Assisting with the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities
• Supporting children’s social, emotional and educational development
• Encouraging positive learning experiences through play-based learning
• Maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for all children

Requirements 

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A recognised Early Years qualification (Level 2, Level 3 or equivalent)
• Previous experience working within a nursery, pre-school, or Early Years setting
• A sound understanding of the EYFS framework
• A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
