Resource base teacher

Desian Education is currently seeking a passionate and adaptable SEND Resource Base Teachers to provide day-to-day supply cover across primary schools in Northwich.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher with SEND experience to work in a specialist resource base, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs while enjoying the flexibility of supply teaching.

Your new role

As a SEND Resource Base Supply Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to individual pupil needs.
• Support children with a range of SEND, including Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language needs, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Follow school plans and policies while adapting learning to meet the needs of pupils.
• Work closely with support staff to create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
• Promote pupil confidence, independence and achievement.
• Maintain positive behaviour management strategies and high expectations.

What you will need: 

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching across KS1&KS2
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
• Satisfactory References
