Upper KS2 Class Teacher

Desian Education is delighted to be supporting a primary school in Halton to be recruit an experienced Upper KS2 Teacher to join the team for a long-term teaching role in September 2026/27

The school are welcoming application from experienced with previous upper KS2 experience. The role will be based in either year 5 or 6.

You will be joining and a warm and welcoming teaching and support team who work hard to create a safe and engaging environment for children to flourish.

As an upper KS2 class teacher you will have full class teacher responsibilities which will include:

• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic progress.
• Work collaboratively with experienced TA’s and the wider school team to ensure consistent support for pupils.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching in Upper KS2
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
