We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Key Stage 2 teacher to join a primary school in Bootle, teaching Year 5 and Year 6 from September. This is a long‑term position with the intention of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

 

This role is ideal for a confident practitioner who can establish strong routines quickly, maintain high expectations, and deliver engaging, high‑quality teaching during the crucial upper‑KS2 years.

 

The successful candidate will:
– Have previous experience teaching in Year 5 and/or Year 6
– Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach
– Have proven strengths in Maths and English
– Be confident planning and delivering lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
– Ideally have experience adapting learning for pupils with SEN, including effective differentiation and support strategies
Be reliable, professional, and able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
