Desian Education Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Knowsley to recruit a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position starting ASAP.

🔍 The Role
Location: Knowsley, Merseyside
Contract: Long-term, Full-time
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £95 – £107.50 per day (dependent on experience)

 

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering the EYFS framework through both child-initiated and staff-led activities.
• Contributing to the required staff:child ratios to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
• Assisting with observations and recording pupils’ development in their learning journals.
• Providing personal and intimate care where necessary, ensuring the physical hygiene and comfort of all children.
• Maintaining a tidy, organised, and stimulating indoor and outdoor early years environment.

 

 

✅ Requirements

To be considered for this role at Desian Education, you must meet the following criteria:

• Qualification: Must hold a recognized EYFS Level 2 or Level 3 qualification that allows you to count toward legal ratios.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ previous experience working in a private nursery or school-based nursery setting.
• Skills: A patient, nurturing approach and the ability to work collaboratively within a large early years team.
• Compliance: Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through Desian Education.
