Desian Education
Your new company
Desian Education are proud to be supporting a Warrington-based high school as they require an experienced and reliable HLTA (higher level teaching assistant) to join their experienced and supportive team on a full-time temporary basis. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work across a highly regarded school and play an integral part in the education of a number of pupils with SEN.
Your new role
As a HLTA within this school you will be supporting a number of pupils with SEN on a timetabled basis. You will report directly into the SENCO on pupil progress and further requirements and accurately maintain records via independent learning journeys. You will offer tailor 1:1 support for a number of pupils with ASD, ADHD and speech requirements, independently planning comprehensive 1:1 interventions in communication, core subjects and behavioural responses. As well as leading on tailor SEN interventions you will also cover PPA as required.
