Level 2 Teaching Assistant – EYFS

Desian Education are proud to be supporting a “Good” in all area’s mainstream primary school in Warrington as they are looking to appoint a motivated and Level 2 qualified teaching assistant for a temporary contract. This school require long-term full-time support within a mixed nursery and reception class.

Your new role

As a teaching assistant within this school you will be based within a mixed nursery and reception class. You will work in collaboration with the class teacher to promote the engagement, learning and development of your new pupils by building strong constructive relationships with pupils and utilising an array of learning equipment. You will hold 1:1 and small group intervention and booster sessions in key developmental areas across the class, with basic numeracy and literacy being delivered with the reception pupils.

What you need to succeed

• Full “Right to Work” in the UK
• An Enhanced Children’s DBS check or willingness to obtain
• Good knowledge of the EYFS national curriculum
• Relevant referenceable classroom experience
