Your new role
As a teaching assistant within this school you will be joining a year 2 class, working in collaboration with an experienced and supportive class teacher. In your role you will be supporting a new pupil of the school on a 1:1 basis. The male pupil you will advocate for is an extremely loving individual but due to EAL and a cognitive delay they have been struggling to integrate. You will act as their main point of contact throughout the day, meeting them at the school gate and walking them back to their grown-up at the end of the day.
