Teaching Assistant – EYFS and Year 4

Your new role

Desian Education are proud to be working in partnership with a Winsford-based mainstream primary school that is at the heart of it’s local community. This inclusive school requires a motivated and reliable teaching assistant to commit to a long-term full-time contract from 20/04/2026 until the end of the academic year.

Within this school you will be supporting the EYFS/reception and Year 4 classes, spending your morning delivering the EYFS curriculum and the afternoon KS2. You will work in partnership with the class teachers to promote the behaviours, learning and engagement of your pupils by utilising an array of learning equipment and supporting with general classroom management.

• Interventions and boosters in core subjects
• Phonics and reading comprehension in EYFS
• Behaviour management in KS2

What you need to succeed

• Full “Right to Work” for the UK
• Good knowledge of the EYFS and KS2 national curriculums
• Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Children’s DBS check
• Relevant referenceable classroom experience
