Year 4/5 Class Teacher

Desian Education are delighted to be working with a large school in Salford to recruit 4/5 class teacher for the Autumn term. The role is initially for 1 term starting in September 2026 but could be extended.

The school are welcoming application for ECT and experienced teachers.

You will be joining an experienced and welcoming teaching and support team who work hard to create a safe and engaging environment for children to achieve their goals.

 

Your new role:

As a year a year 4/5 class teacher you will have full teaching responsibilities which will include:

• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic progress.
• Work collaboratively with experienced TA’s and the wider school team to ensure consistent support for pupils.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed.

What you will need: 

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching in KS2
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
• Satisfactory References
