Year 3 Class Teacher

Desian Education is currently partnering with a school in Runcorn to recruit a year 3 teacher for a long-term teaching position starting in April 2026.

 

The role is initially for the rest of the academic year however could be extended into the 2026/27 academic year.

 

We are welcoming applications from ECTs and experienced teachers.

 

Your New School

 

You will be working a in a large single form entry primary school in Runcorn alongside an experience teaching and support team who work hard to create an environment where all children can achieve their goals.

 

As a year 3 class teacher you will have full teaching responsibilities which will include:

• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic progress.
• Work collaboratively with experienced TA’s and the wider school team to ensure consistent support for pupils.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed.

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience as KS2 Teacher, preferable in year 3
• Strong classroom management skills and a nurturing, child-centred approach.
