We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive early years team within a Northwich Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a supportive and hands-on learning environment.

Working hours for this role are 8.30am-3.30pm.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities
  • Assisting with the personal, social, and emotional development of children aged 3-5
  • Helping to create a stimulating and safe learning environment
  • Observing and recording children’s progress
  • Building strong relationships with children, staff, and parents

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an early years setting (nursery, preschool or similar)
  • A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent)
  • A genuine passion for working with young children
  • A proactive, patient, and caring approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
