Nurture Group / Year 6 Intervention Teacher
North Liverpool | Community Primary School (Ofsted: Good)
2-Term Contract | ECTs Welcome

Desian Education is proud to be working in partnership with a ‘Good’ rated Community Primary School in North Liverpool to recruit a committed and compassionate teacher for a 2-term temporary role.

This is a split position, with the successful candidate working across a Nurture Group and a Year 6 Intervention class throughout the school day. The role would suit a teacher who is passionate about inclusion, emotional wellbeing, and raising attainment for pupils who need additional support.

The school is located in a deprived area and has a strong focus on nurturing relationships, consistency, and high expectations. Senior leaders are supportive, and the school is happy to consider ECTs, making this an excellent developmental opportunity.

The Role:
Split timetable between Nurture Group provision and Year 6 intervention
Deliver targeted academic and pastoral support
Work closely with SEND, pastoral, and senior leadership teams
Full teaching responsibilities within the scope of the role
2-term contract

The School Offers:
Ofsted ‘Good’ rating
Strong community ethos
Supportive and experienced leadership team
Clear systems and pastoral structures in place
A rewarding role making a genuine impact

The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
ECTs encouraged to apply
A nurturing, patient, and resilient approach
Experience or interest in intervention, nurture, or pastoral support
Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
If you are a dedicated teacher looking for a meaningful role where you can support pupils both academically and emotionally, this is an excellent opportunity.
