Desian Education is recruiting two Interim School Business Managers and one Senior Finance Officer to provide high-quality operational and financial support to schools on a fixed-term basis from January 2026 to July 2026.

These interim roles are ideal for experienced professionals who can step in quickly and make an immediate impact, ensuring the effective day-to-day running of schools during a key period.

Roles Available
Interim School Business Manager – North Liverpool (L9)
Interim School Business Manager – South Liverpool (L24)
Senior Finance Officer – Knowsley (L36)

The Role
You will work closely with senior leadership teams to deliver robust operational and financial management, supporting schools to run efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities will vary by role but may include:

Financial management, budgeting, and reporting
Operational oversight and compliance
Supporting leadership teams with strategic and day-to-day decision-making
Ensuring continuity and stability during the interim period

About You
Proven experience in a school business, finance, or operational management role
Strong organisational, financial, and problem-solving skills
Confident and adaptable, able to step into an interim role quickly
Available from January to July 2026
