School Administrator / Attendance Officer (Permanent)

Location: South Liverpool

Start Date: After February Half Term

Working Pattern: 5 days per week

Desian Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established school in South Liverpool to recruit a permanent School Administrator / Attendance Officer.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community that has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The school benefits from strong transport links and is conveniently located close to local amenities.

The RoleThe successful candidate will play a key role in the smooth running of the school office, with responsibilities including:

Providing efficient administrative support to the school leadership team
Managing pupil attendance, monitoring data, and following up on absences
Maintaining accurate records in line with school policies and procedures
Acting as a professional and welcoming first point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors
The Ideal CandidateHas previous experience in a school office or similar administrative role
Demonstrates strong organisational, communication, and IT skills
Has experience or knowledge of attendance procedures (desirable)
Is reliable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team

Year 2 Teaching Assistant

Are you someone who can think on their feet, use their initiative, and build strong, supportive relationships with children?

We are looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 2 who is currently working at Foundation Stage level. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a nurturing approach and the ability to adapt learning experiences to meet individual needs.

 

About the Role

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to support a pupil who benefits from regular movement and sensory breaks throughout the day. There are no behavioural needs, but the ability to recognise when the pupil needs time away from the classroom is essential.

The pupil responds particularly well to sports and active learning, so an interest in physical activity or outdoor learning would be a great asset in this role.
