We are currently recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of schools in the Knowsley and St Helens area. With opportunities available for both full-time and part-time work, this is an excellent chance to gain experience in different educational settings while maintaining flexibility around your schedule.
The RoleÂ
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Nursery to Key Stage 2. Roles may include:
– General Classroom Teaching Assistant support
– 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
– Supporting within SEN bases and specialist provisions
– Delivering small group interventions
– Phonics support and literacy development
– Supporting pupils with classwork and learning activities
– Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) responsibilities where applicable
RequirementsÂ
To be successful in this role, you will need:
– Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a school setting
– Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
– A positive, proactive and adaptable approach
– Strong communication and teamwork skills
– A passion for helping children achieve their full potential
Desirable Qualifications
– Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3)
– HLTA status
– Additional SEN-related training and qualifications
