EYFS teacher

Desian Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join their Early Years team on a long-term supply basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and nurturing teacher who is passionate about giving young children the very best start to their educational journey. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating an engaging and stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity, confidence and a love of learning.

Your new role

As an EYFS Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support children’s social, emotional and academic development.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, maintaining accurate records.
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
• Encourage children’s independence, imagination and communication skills through play-based learning.
• Contribute positively to the wider school community.

What you’ll need:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching within EYFS or Early Years settings.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
• Is passionate about supporting every child to achieve their potential.
• Possesses excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Is adaptable, enthusiastic and committed to delivering high-quality education.
