FS1 Teacher – Birkenhead – Wirral

Start Date: February 2026

Contract Type: Five mornings per week for the next two months from 23rd February 2026

Salary: M1 – M6

Location: Birkenhead

 

Are you an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher? Are you ready to take the next step in your teaching journey this February? A welcoming and supportive primary school in Birkenhead are looking to appoint a FS1 Teacher for five mornings per week to cover a long-term teaching placement.

What’s on Offer:

·         A part-time teaching role in a FS1 class from 23rd February to Easter as a minimum.

·         Immediate start for February half-term, a quick turnaround is required

·         Supportive SLT committed to staff development and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate:

·         Have recent experience of teaching in Early Years

·         Be able to demonstrate confident behaviour management skills

·         Committed to creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

·         Proactive, flexible, and eager to contribute to school life

·         Able to hit the ground running with support from a friendly and experienced team

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident Early Years & Foundation Stage Teacher looking for an interim position.
