Year 3 Teacher – North Liverpool | Long-Term Supply – January Start
Desian Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in North Liverpool that is seeking a resilient, enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join their team on a long-term supply basis.

The school serves a community facing a range of socioeconomic challenges, but benefits from an excellent teaching network, strong staff support and a collaborative approach to education. The school is committed to helping every child achieve their potential and provides a supportive environment for teachers to develop and succeed.

The Year 3 class presents a particular challenge, making this an exciting opportunity for a confident and adaptable teacher who can establish clear routines, build positive relationships and create a structured, engaging learning environment. The successful candidate will be passionate about making a difference and able to bring consistency, enthusiasm and high expectations to the classroom.

Your New Role
As the Year 3 Teacher, you will take responsibility for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, supporting pupils as they progress through Key Stage 2.

Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Establishing clear classroom routines and maintaining positive behaviour.
Adapting teaching approaches to meet the varied needs, abilities and learning styles within the class.
Building strong, positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement, confidence and progress.
Working collaboratively with experienced colleagues and support staff to ensure pupils receive consistent support.
Assessing pupil progress and using this information to inform teaching and learning.
Maintaining high expectations while creating a safe, inclusive and encouraging classroom environment.
This role would suit a teacher who enjoys a challenge, remains calm under pressure and understands the importance of consistency, structure and relationship-building. You will not be working in isolation; the school has an excellent teaching network and support base to help you navigate the demands of the role.
