KS2 Primary Supply Teacher

Are you an enthusiastic and reliable KS2 Primary Teacher looking for flexible supply work in St Helens?

Desian Education is looking to recruit passionate KS2 teachers to work across our network of primary schools in the St Helens area. We have opportunities for teachers looking for day-to-day supply, short-term placements and longer-term roles.

Supply teaching is a fantastic way to enjoy greater flexibility, experience different school environments and find the type of school that suits you best.

As a KS2 Supply Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2
• Follow teachers’ planning and ensure continuity of learning
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Adapt to different year groups, pupils and school environments
• Work alongside teaching assistants and other school staff
• Provide feedback to the school at the end of the day or placement

We’d love to hear from teachers who have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience or a strong interest in teaching within KS2
• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A positive, professional and adaptable approach
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs
• Full Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
