Year 4 Class Teacher

Desian Education is looking for an experienced Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in St Helens for an ongoing, long-term role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced KS2 teacher who is confident taking full responsibility for a Year 4 class and is passionate about helping pupils make excellent progress.

As the Year 4 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
• Take full responsibility for the teaching and learning of your Year 4 class
• Assess, monitor and support pupil progress
• Differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning needs
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
• Work closely with teaching assistants and other members of staff
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Contribute fully to the wider life of the school

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has strong experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
• Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Is confident with planning, assessment and marking
• Has high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
• Is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to a long-term position
• Can quickly become a valued member of the school team
