Desian Education is delighted to be supporting a St Helens Primary School to recruit an enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated School Business Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in supporting the strategic and operational leadership of our thriving primary school.

About the Role

As School Business Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the school’s business functions, including:

  • Financial management and budget monitoring
  • Human resources and payroll administration
  • Premises and facilities management
  • Health and safety compliance
  • Procurement and contract management
  • Administrative systems and processes
  • Supporting the Headteacher and Governors with strategic planning

 

You will work closely with the Headteacher and wider leadership team, providing professional advice and ensuring the effective management of the school’s resources.

  • Possesses excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Demonstrates strong financial acumen and attention to detail
  • Can manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Shares our vision and values for providing the very best education for our pupils
  • Experience within an educational setting would be advantageous, although applications from candidates with relevant transferable skills and experience are welcomed.
