We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Primary PPA Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive specialist school in Northwich from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

 

The Role

As a PPA Teacher, you will deliver engaging and creative lessons across a range of primary age groups, providing high-quality cover during teachers’ planning, preparation and assessment time. You will work closely with experienced teaching staff and support teams to ensure continuity of learning and positive outcomes for pupils with a variety of additional needs.

The school caters for pupils with a range of needs, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties
  • Communication and Interaction Needs
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

 

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Has experience teaching within a primary or SEN setting.
  • Is passionate about inclusive education and supporting pupils with additional needs.
  • Can adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning requirements.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Brings energy, creativity and a positive attitude to the classroom.

What you will need: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching experience in EYS, KS1 & KS2
  • Experience supporting children with SEN
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
  • Satisfactory References
