Year 3/4 Class Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and talented Year 3/4 Class Teacher to work in a friendly and supportive primary school community in Runcorn from September 2026 on a long-term temporary basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning and helping every child achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will:

• Teach a mixed Year 3/4 class, creating engaging and inspiring learning experiences.
• Plan, deliver and assess lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Foster a positive, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive staff team.
• Develop strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school.

 

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience in teaching Key Stage 2 pupils.
• Demonstrates high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
• Is committed to raising standards and promoting excellent outcomes for all children.
• Has outstanding communication and organisational skills.
• Brings enthusiasm, creativity and a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Is able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
