Teaching Assistant (1:1 SEN Support) – Knowsley
Start Date: September
Contract: Full Time, Long Term

 

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Knowsley from September. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, working on a 1:1 basis with a Year 4 pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

 

 

The Role:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to a Year 4 pupil with SEN
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions
• Support the pupil’s academic, social and emotional development
• Adapt learning materials and activities to meet individual needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

 

Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a primary school setting
• Proven experience supporting children with SEN needs
• A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
