A thriving Catholic Primary School in North Liverpool is seeking a dedicated, practising Catholic to join our senior leadership team as Deputy Head Teacher. This is a pivotal role for a driven practitioner who balances strategic vision with a passion for classroom excellence.
The Role
This position offers a unique balance for a leader who still loves the classroom. You will have a 10% teaching commitment, supported by one full day of PPA every two weeks, alongside occasional cover responsibilities. You will be a cornerstone of our school’s operations, driving standards and nurturing the “special gifts, qualities, and talents” of every pupil.
Key Responsibilities
Operations: Leading the daily rhythm of the school, including timetabling and organising cover.
Data & Assessment: Taking ownership of pupil progress and using data to drive school improvement.
Teaching & Learning: Leading CPD and mentoring staff as the Induction Tutor.
Compliance & Safety: Serving as the Educational Visits Coordinator (EVC).
Faith Leadership: Opportunity to Lead RE, ensuring our Catholic ethos remains at the heart of all we do.
