EYFS Teaching Assistant (Qualified – Ratio-Covered Role)

We are recruiting a nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly primary school in St Helens, supporting children across the Early Years Foundation Stage.

This role requires a recognised EYFS Teaching Assistant / Early Years qualification, allowing the successful candidate to be included in staff-to-child ratios.

Key Responsibilities:
Support learning across the EYFS setting
Work with children individually and in small groups
Assist with observations and assessment
Support daily routines and child development
Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment

Requirements:
Recognised EYFS qualification (Level 2 or 3)
Previous EYFS or school-based experience
Understanding of the EYFS framework
DBS on the Update Service or documents to apply for one
