Teaching Assistant – Year 5

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Year 5 class at a primary school in St Helens.
This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September, supporting pupils across the KS2 curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher with lesson delivery
Work with small groups and individual pupils
Assist with classroom preparation
Support pupils’ learning, behaviour and wellbeing
Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
Previous school-based experience essential
KS2 experience desirable
Flexible and proactive approach
DBS on the Update Service or documents to apply for one
