This is an extremely rewarding position where you will join the school on a long-term temporary basis and play an integral role in the emotional well-being and education of a pupil within the year 4 class. This position has an immediate start available and subject to funding will last the remainder of the academic year.
Your new role
As a teaching assistant within this school you will be supporting a year 4 pupil with SEMH on a 1:1 basis that is in the main classroom. You pupil has been subject to significant trauma so the ability to build a strong constructive relationship and use a trauma-informed approach is imperative. You will:
