Desian Education are working with a Huyton primary school who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to cover a maternity leave starting in January 2026.

The Role:

Planning and delivering engaging and challenging KS1 lessons in line with the curriculum.

Assessing, monitoring, and supporting the progress of all pupils to ensure they achieve their full potential.

Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning.

Collaborating with colleagues to deliver a cohesive and enriched curriculum.

Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers to support learning and development.

About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

Experience essential as KS1 Teacher, preferably in upper years (Year 1/2).

Strong classroom management skills and a nurturing, child-centred approach.

Committed to maintaining high standards and promoting a love of learning.
